very good framing and perspective on the image  Nice and useful explanation about black and white  conversion. Result is very big tone scale.  In my humble opinion sky is too dark  but  it's a matter of personal perception

To Ricardo about the BW

I always make my BW after finishing the full color version.

The BW is almost never made in 1 step, but I use several BW layers blending them with the color to be able to nuance light with the color channel in several soft steps.

After finishing mostly I finish the BW by adding 2 complementary soft  toned layers  so that the B/W is the result of color just like painters add some color to their black to add life to it, although the result is only in the subconscient perception .  Always RGB black.  I use the Nick software "silver efexs pro" to get the BW layers (like most of photographers do)
