After watching the rich gallery of female PORTRAITS of the talented author FIRA, I found that her works, in addition to having an amazing shooting technique, have also a great post production which denotes the care that she use in each of her works, giving them always a personal touch.

I've chosen this picture to make some personal observations: the portrait is one of the most popular and common photographic genres; make a portrait can give enormous satisfaction, but make it one without real emotions is of little worth. In fact is not just the mere memory of a person or the cold execution of photographic techniques, but must transmit an emotion, a memory that remain indelible watching.
The close-up photos and half busts require some special attention to be well done. Considering this, I was able to appreciate her skill on directing and menaging the model in the choice of the almost perfect pose, to comply with certain rules of composition and add interest to the shot, making everything very professional.
I've noticed also that in her works, everything is calculated, thus trying to avoid trivial mistakes that could bother the observer, capturing authentic emotions.
I conclude with my compliments for the excellent realization of this portrait; from the side light that surrounds the subject without flattening it, giving it the right three-dimensionality, to the Pose and the attention to details and especially the color of the incarnate.. true strength of this photo.
